This actually happened to me while I was in a New York club back when I was an animation director. Wasn’t that funny at the time for me but looking back, it’s hilarious. I thought it would be fitting to start with this as we launch the Re:LIFE cartoon series “Life does not hate you.” This is kind of my jaded Gap-based look at the world because even though I try to live by the principles in my own book, I need to blow off some steam and get edgy once in a while too you know. How is that edgy? While I can see there being something about there not being a lot of value in doing that kind of work,e.g. you aren’t a doctor or a lawyer, it is sad that this is the kind of world we live in these days.
It reminds me of John Gray and Barbara De Angelis, who were a couple and each had relationships books or infomercials out there. Gotta love those love gurus that know so little about love. Maybe I’m starting to become a bit jaded, too.
