Part of the “How To Be Happy No Matter What” series.
Thanks Cat for giving us this topic. Happiness is something that a lot of people take for granted or don’t allow themselves to pursue for different reasons. In this episode we show how taking yourself too seriously can really cause a downward spiral. Hope you enjoy and keep the suggestions coming! Please drop a comment.

Content is quite different from happy to my mind. Content is being able to accept my current circumstances, where it isn’t bad, but that doesn’t mean it is great either. Happy moments tend to be those rare moments where I can feel this surge in me that is rather neat and has happened more than a few times in the past year so I do have some recollection of being there. Whether it be telling my truth, or being able to just relish in the moment of, “Yeah, I am here and life is fantabulous,” there are some recurring themes to these times.
I’d probably suggest the tip that being happy is temporary and that’s OK. If you were happy all the time, wouldn’t that be incredibly sad? I think it would be as a good part of being happy is that it comes and goes so it isn’t something that one always has like an old slipper. I do have the question of how do you see the difference between happy and joy. Is there a difference to you? Just something to think about as another part of this series maybe.
