Act 1: Journey of Discovery
Chapter 2: Message

Although people may share a calling, there is a message within your calling that is unique only to you. Isn’t it amazing that out of seven billion people, there is not a single other individual that is an exact replica of you? Not only is your DNA unique, but so is what you are doing and thinking this very moment. Nobody else can be you right now. Nobody else has your message.
Mother Teresa had a message. Martin Luther King had a message. Bono has a message. These are examples of modern-day prophets that have responded to their callings and are changing history to this day delivering the message. You have a message. You are a prophet.
Do you believe it?
While some find it difficult to discover their calling, identifying the message of their calling can be a substantially more strenuous endeavor. Why? Because it requires you to be still and listen. This is easier said then done. There’s a lot of white noise of messages competing for our attention. They are like voices in a room of echoes. Some of these voices want to distract you. Others want to destroy you.
It is ignorant and arrogant to think that anybody else can give you your message. There is only one true voice of Life you must listen to in order to receive it. The question is will you be still enough to truly hear?
A warning of caution: your message may not always be popular. Your message may be in direct conflict of interest with the messages of others. But if your message aligns with your calling, it will resonate with those that need to receive it. This is what else makes your message unique to only you. Your calling, identity, experiences have all been destined to give your message a specific frequency tuned for a specific audience. It could be for your friends and family, a group you lead, or even an entire culture. Your message may be intended to provoke passion, inspire action, confront injustice and even ripple with impact for generations.
Just know that the authentic message always gives Life to others.
Blessing: May you choose to be still today and listen for the voice of Life and your message. May the voices of distraction and destruction be silent. And if your messages is known, may you deliver it with clarity and conviction as Life provides you the opportunity.
Response: I choose to be still today and listen for the voice of Life and my message. The voices of distraction and destruction will be silent. And as Life provides the opportunities, I will deliver my message with clarity and conviction.
