We are a think-tank that develops tools and strategies to help individuals and organizations achieve a concept we call ‘synchronized leadership’. We deliver our solutions through mentorship communities and coaching process.
We define synchronized leaders as individuals and organizations that have mastered 3 key spheres:
- M_DNA (Motivation - Discover – Network – Accelerate)
- Social Graph – Your Networks
- Viability – Success and Fulfillment
When synchronized, these three spheres create the following formula:
- Culture (Purpose) – Where DNA and The Social Graph Intersect
- Strategy (Passions) – Where The Social Graph and Viability Intersect
- Optimization (Potential) – Where Viability and Culture Intersect
The idea for Re:LIFE began when co-founder Ed Kang went on a ‘Journey of Compassion’ to Nicaragua to conduct two weeks of medical clinics, feeding centres and other humanitarian projects in 2009. The experience was transformational, but not without cost.
On the tenth day of the journey, Ed experienced, has he describes, an “epic meltdown.” He spent the night in his hotel room re-evaluating his approach to Life and wrote an outline for the book Re:LIFE & The Myth of Motivation.

A few months later the Re:LIFE book was published. Ed and friend Megan Choi than co-founded what were then called Re:LIFE ‘villages’, gathering groups of people to learn how to experience personal success and fulfillment.
These Re:LIFE villages would later evolve into ‘Think (and Grow) Tanks’ where individuals would be mentored in exploring new strategies for personal, business and social applications. Re:LIFE also partnered with a social organization called ‘The Journey of Discovery’ which would continue sending teams down to Nicaragua.

The Re:LIFE Group has since developed a new proprietary process called the M_DNA Strategy which involves the research and development of seven different personality-based ‘motivational profiles’ and how to apply them for growth and opportunity. The vision for the M_DNA Strategy is to synchronized 1 million people with their purpose, passions and potential while measuring the collective impact this has on society using social media.
