If you would like a safe no-risk method to find out more about us, the most accessible and recommended way is to join a weekly Re:LIFE Village. If you do not know what this is, please visit our VILLAGES page. Our first village was started in Calgary Alberta Canada, but we have several others in different stages of development. We will update this site regularly as more villages launch. Please feel free to CONTACT us if there isn’t a village in your area and you might be interested in starting/sponsoring one. We utilize the amazing service Meetup.com to organize our villages.

This is why local Re:LIFE chapter villages look for opportunities to serve and make an impact in their cities and communities. We work beside the humanitarian organization Impact Nations and their Project 10,000 Bridges initiative. If you want to just get out and make a difference, join us! We have no qualms about asking people to give–because it’s not about us or the money–it’s about transforming communities to rescue lives. As our story goes, Re:LIFE was born while Ed Kang went on a “Journey of Compassion” (JOC) to do medical clinics, feeding centers and social projects in Nicaragua. Since that time, we have supported JOC’s to the Philippines twice and another to Nicaragua. In January 2010, members of Re:LIFE will embark on a JOC to Uganda Africa.
Working with leaders and partners from participating humanitarian organizations, we have evolved the JOC into an introductory “Journey of Discovery” (JOD). A JOD combines humanitarian projects, personal development and life strategy workshops that encompass body, mind and spiritual growth. Imagine the ability to learn strategies on how to transform yourself and the world around you, while simultaneously having the opportunity to actually do it something about it at the same time. In order for Re:LIFE to have the true individual and community transformational effect we envision, our focus must be in leadership development. This is why apprenticeship is a big deal for us. What is an apprentice? An apprentice is someone who is trained, equipped and released to be a mature, influential and self-motivated leader. In this regard, we are all in the process of apprenticeship for Life. For anybody who is seriously interested in leading their own Village, we provide a program that focuses on the following principles of Re:LIFE apprenticeship:

- Creating group trust and intimacy
- Coaching dynamics management and presence
- Active engagement (listening) and facilitation
- Questioning with insight
- Communicating with foresight

- Life-based management and accountability
